Vocklamarkt

What a change fro the last group.  We couldn't find the street, but someone gave us directions based on knowing the agnes kids.  These kids are now60. The girls have found a purpose in that they have found semino rossi.  They appear content accept for freddie. He can't seem to find the right hobby. Inge cooks with herbs and hilde works on the computer and is in charge of the garden.  .it seems like a lonely life, but they get along well.

My story rad and reisen

This is truly the way to go for a non- cyclist person. All the way is downhill,  the company takes good care of the people on the boat down the danube.  I had a terrible nosebleed  for at least a half an hour.  The cruise person offered to call an ambulance,but with some ice and fresh air the bleeding stopped.  Since then my ankle has swelled , but leslie, the crew director gave me nonstop ice packs.  This is the  only way to go.  The suitcase. Is on the boat and the bikes too.  The ride is all downhill.

Family visits

Stayed with elfie and ossie.  May be last time as ossie has als.  The stages are just beginning. The family support is there .  It is still hard for the family. Elfie is a very strong mother figure.  Dietmar has not recovered from his wife's death.   I am so glad we stayed with family because life is not just about looking at things but about experiencing the world around. Evie and katy fed us a lot, but they do not have the same relationship with us as elfie.  I think our visit provided some healing all the way around.

Innsbruck

Anneliese and husband met us for dinner, son came later.  Nice time.  Off to the seilbahn tomorrow

Seilahn wsa great experience.  I can't believe that people bike way up to the top and hen down the mountain.  Innsbruck feels like home.  The language is a challenge, but i like it much better.

Made it to Zurich, someone else did not as we took someone`s ticket. In Zurich no car, Kathy no luggage. Beautiful time in Innsbruck,had to take train to get there. Me

On the plane

Looking frward to new sights

Ran into man headed for London. The poor guy also missed plane and also connection in the am. Booked now on 6 pm flight. Hope he makes it. Even last night he got a hotel room, and after opening the door he found someone else in his bed. I,hope he made it.

In retrospect, everybody has tried to be helpful and kind

The customer service man gave us a seat ,but someone else had that same seat as well. It was all fixed at the departure gate.

Will try and blog while in Europe

I will be on my way to Europe inn a few days and Ingrid met me borrow her tablet in hopes that i would bog on the road.

Waiting in the airport, but we have been busy with all our electronics. It will be nice to sleep on the plane, but we have to stop in Toronto for the second plane. I hope iti is quiet and the food is good.
